MARCH 2025

Happy almost we’re-so-close-we-can-nearly-see-it spring! Magic is happening underneath the topsoil and soon we’ll see budding blooms all around. Can you tell we’re excited?

March is kind of like the Wednesday of the year. It’s that middleman that gives you a glimpse of what’s to come on the other side of all these low temperatures. While we wait, it’s a great time to come out of your personal cold-weather hibernation. Come into the store and treat yourself to one of our tulip bouquets to brighten your home. Get ready for spring cleaning by grabbing The Neighborgoods sponge cloths or a pack of Skoy’s dishcloths. They’re both a great replacement for single-use paper towels because they can be washed and reused. Usher in the new season with a little sparkle!

We’ll see you in the store!

With gratitude,

Jerry

Spring Into Action

What are you looking forward to most this spring? The warmer weather? Prepping your garden? Doing a spring cleanout? Whatever it is, we’ll be stocking up on your favorite non-toxic cleaning supplies, soil-ready herbs and vegetables, and deli favorites, so you can spend time outside instead of inside your kitchen.

St. Patrick’s Day

We’ll all be “going green,” on Monday, March 17th for St. Patrick’s Day. To get us in the mood for the holiday, we’ll have Provisions’ freshly baked scones and Irish soda bread. Interested in making your own Irish soda bread? We recommend this recipe:

Grandma’s Irish Soda Bread

St. Patrick’s Day isn’t the same without corned beef and cabbage. We’re stocked up on Dakota Grass Fed Natural Uncured Corned Beef Brisket because your favorite recipes deserve the best ingredients.

Seasonal Produce

Seasonal Fruits

Packed with antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C, the itty-bitty kiwi deserves a moment in the spotlight. Sweet and tangy, this juicy fruit is easy to incorporate into your diet. Slice it up and add it to your morning yogurt, toss it into your salad, or dice it into a tropical salsa.

Seasonal Veggies

Since we’re celebrating St. Patty’s Day this month, highlighting cabbage seems like a no-brainer. This cruciferous vegetable is certainly worthy of your attention. It’s filled with nutrients that help fight inflammation, can help with digestion, and can stimulate your immune system. Beyond corned beef and cabbage, you can cut up thick slices and roast them, sauté slivers with garlic, or chop it up with some lime and cilantro to make a healthy cole slaw.

Wellness Matters

Going Plant-Based

Incorporating plant-based meals into your diet can be great for your health and the planet. If you’re plant-curious, one product RT customers love is MyFOREST Foods’ MyBacon. We know what you’re thinking: fake bacon? Yes! Customers are loving it for its texture and savory flavor. Made from oyster mushroom mycelium grown in a vertical farm, it’s a complete protein and is made without fillers, preservatives, or binders. It’s time to remake your BLT!

Beauty Products Made with Beef Tallow

Beef tallow has many benefits, including when it comes to your skin. It’s rich in lipids and fatty acids and customers seem to love how nourishing it feels. Grass Fed Skin and Vellum Street are two companies that use organic, grass fed tallow in their thoughtfully made beauty products. We’ve got soap bars, body creams, deodorant, and facial moisturizer, so come on in and give them a try.

Steve’s Supplement Suggestion

With the flu, colds, and norovirus running rampant, your immune system might need a little assistance. Immune supplements our customers have been buying on repeat include Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Zinc, Bluebonnet Vitamin D, and Natural Factors Liposomal Vitamin C. Talk about a triple threat!

*Speak with your doctor before adding any supplement into your diet.

Smoothie of the Month: Pot of Gold

Cheers to a bit o’ luck with our Pot of Gold smoothie. A rainbow of healthy ingredients like ginger, pineapple, mango, and orange juice come together to create a flavor you’re sure to treasure!

Working at Rising Tide

When it comes to grocery stores, we may be on the smaller side, but what we lack in square footage, we make up for in company culture and teamwork. There’s a reason why our team members know customers’ names, products they prefer, and even what’s going on in their lives. It’s because one of our core hiring principles is finding candidates that are a good match with our culture. Generosity, positivity, and a can-do spirit are some of our top priorities when we hire. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
