Manager on Duty (MOD)
Pay: $20 per hour
DESCRIPTION
Are you a people person who enjoys anticipating needs, supporting a great team, and ensuring things run smoothly? If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply to become a Rising Tide Natural Market Manager on Duty (MOD).
As an MOD, you’ll be the point person for both customers and staff. In every interaction, you’ll bring a warm, engaging tone, whether you’re assisting customers, supporting the deli or cashiers, or managing the sales floor.
This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership qualities who enjoys people and wants to grow within a fun, community-focused independent natural foods store. Knowledge and interest in natural and organic foods is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to learn is most important.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Give every customer a warm welcome and helpful, attentive service
- Serve as a reliable resource for customer and staff questions
- Support team members by giving breaks and assisting departments as needed
- Help lead, guide, and motivate employees throughout your shift
- Accurately shop, prepare, and complete online orders
- Complete all MOD checklists and shift responsibilities
- Jump in, solve problems, and help keep the store organized and running smoothly
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong customer service skills and experience working with the public
- A positive, open, and helpful approach to the work of the day
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Evening availability, including at least one weekend evening
