Our Front End Manager position is perfect for someone who loves working with people, has a positive and helpful manner, and thrives in a busy environment where every day brings something new. Excellent customer service skills and experience managing and supporting others is required. Knowledge of natural foods is a plus, and grace under pressure is a must.
Wage: $25/hr
Responsibilities
As Front End Manager, you will be the point person for all customer related issues and supervise a staff of 10 cashiers. You will ensure that all cashiers are fully trained, that they are up to date on any changes, and that they are adhering to all Rising Tide policies and expectations for performance. Hiring, scheduling, and evaluating staff members are core components of the position as is demonstrating excellent customer service and staff support throughout every shift. Our Front End Manager will be the closing key holder several evenings a week, ensuring we have finished our closing procedures and then setting the alarm. They will also attend regular meeting with the management team and collaborate on store projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience serving the public and working collaboratively in a team setting
- Supervisory experience: hiring, training, directing, and evaluating team members
- Familiarity with retail and knowledge of organic & natural foods
- Ability to handle multiple demands and remain calm under pressure
- Evening availability and one weekend shift required
