Manager on Duty (MOD)
Description
As an MOD, you will be the point person for all customer & staff-related inquiries and service. This means emulating Rising Tide’s service ethos at all times and supporting team members in our deli, front end, and on the floor generally. This position is perfect for someone who loves working with people, has a mature and helpful manner, and is looking to grow with us. Strong customer service skills, and experience managing and supporting others is required. Knowledge of natural foods is a plus.
Wage: $17-20/hr
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and assist them in all areas of our store
- Oversee the daily functions of the store, including customer flow & satisfaction
- Support staff in their duties, including giving breaks and assisting in departments as needed
- Accurately shop and complete all online orders
- Complete MOD checklists appropriate for your shift
Qualifications
- Experience serving the public and working collaboratively in a team setting
- Supervisory experience: hiring, training, directing, and evaluating team members
- Familiarity with retail and knowledge of organic & natural foods
- Ability to handle multiple demands and remain calm under pressure
- Evening availability and one weekend evening required
